In his recent work, An Introduction toTheology in a Global Perspective (Orbis, 2009), Stephen Bevans singles out AEJT as "one of the world's most important and interesting theological journals". In this issue, we are gifted with a range of theological perspectives, topics and approaches but highlight the final chapter of John Thornhill’s The Road All Peoples Travel: An Introduction to Christopher Dawson’s Interpretation of Cultural History.
