From the Editor
AEJT 14 contains a range of theological voices from Australia, New Zealand and Oceania as well as South-East Asia, North America and Europe. Appropriately, in this the five hundredth anniversary year of John Calvin’s birth, we are gifted with Roland Boer’s reflections on Calvin’s theology and politics. We are also invited to share the insights of Stephen Bevans on contemporary mission. His image of mission as “an invitation to the dance” is illustrated with specific reference to Raymond Canning’s Christian perspective on the role of interfaith relations in confronting conflict in society.
